To process my experience, I wrote a memoir. My writing buddy, a seasoned memoirist, asked, “Who cares? Friends come and go. It wasn’t like you were married to him, right?”
So, after months of research, I decided to twist the story around for the betrayal to make sense and add tons of juicy details. The result is my darkest, most suspenseful story to date.
